I have come to learn, after many difficult life experiences, that this quote by Katrina Mayer is completely accurate.
Normally I would introduce myself by saying I am a young widow, a single mom with four children ages 5 through 12, and a certified life coach.
All of this is completely accurate; however, I am so much more. I am also a fighter: a fighter for my kids who have individual special needs. I am a fighter for our family livelihood, as I am the sole provider. I am a fighter for my journey to healthy self-care after years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. And I am a fighter for those who seek me out for help in healing from personal suffering.
Self-love isn’t selfish, it’s a necessity. My life has been turned around by learning the steps to accomplish this momentous goal. And my passion is helping others who suffer to find peace and self-empowerment to accomplish all they desire for their life.
